White on white

A new trend I've been seeing around lately is wearing white on white pieces. Now is the perfect time to take advantage of this. I'm not a firm believer of the style requirement of not wearing white after Labor Day but there is definitely a time and a place for white clothing. Here are some items that can be mixed and matched either together or with colored pieces.

1. Forever21, Textured Shawl Collar Blazer
2. J.Crew, Ring-Around Eyelet Top
3. ASOS, Metal Keeper Super Skinny Waist Belt
4. Top Shop, Self Stripe Knot Back Dress
5. Ray Ban, Cat Eye Sunglasses

7. Madewell, Skinny Skinny Ankle Jeans in White Wash
8. Tobi, Knucklehead Clutch
9. Macy's, Sleeveless Lace Scoop Neck Tank

Clint Eastwood's daughter destroys a $100,000 bag

Francesca Eastwood — daughter of Clint Eastwood and current reality star — is said to be receiving death threats after she was photographed by her boyfriend Tyler Shields destroying and burning a Birkin bag valued at over $100,000.

On his blog, Tyler wrote the following:
"For the people who don’t know a Birkin is the most sought after bag in the entire world there is a waiting list and some of them can run upwards of $100,000. This is the red Crocodile Birkin VS the red $200 chainsaw and 4 dollars of gasoline!"

The reactions in the comments of his blog range from "This isn't art, this is a narcisstic show of your own excesses" to "fucking spoiled rich fuckers have NO clue what it is to make a dollar." There were also many critiques of Shield's skills as a photographer, like "I can take a better pic with my cell phone" and "the central composition is boring and with that boosted contrast it looks like a myspace picture i took in high school LOLOLOLOLOL, what a fuckin waste."

Obviously, this is all a ploy for attention and for people to tune into the Eastwood reality show. Still, people are worked up about it and at the end of the day, this is how the spawn of Clint Eastwood is spending her time.

Coachella Fashion

Yeah...
So unless you've been living under a rock (or avoiding facebook), you know that the Coachella festival was the weekends of April 13th and April 20th. Music festivals are a fun place to experiment with fashion but Coachella concert-goers are notoriously bad for their ensemble choices with some exceptions (Diane Kruger and Emma Watson looked fabulous).

Here are some great pieces that won't make you look like an obnoxious hipster or horribly racist (I'm looking at you, Vanessa Hudgens) and are appropriate for the 100 degree weather.

1. Urban Outfitters, Staring at Stars Crochet Lace-Up Sweater Tank
2. Forever21, Floral Drawstring Cami
3. Forever21, Embroidered Lace Dress
4. Tobi, Pleated Maxi Skirt
5. Michael Stars, Lace Crochet Tote
6. Melie Bianco, Gwyneth Bag
7. Zara, Pleated Strass Hairband
8. ModCloth, Stick To Your Guns Flat
9. Nodstrom, TOMS Cruz Wedge
10. Piperlime, Hive & Honey Claudette

Kardashian Collection: A line of knock-off purses?

If you suspect Kim Kardashian’s marriage was fake, wait until you see her new collection of handbags, which Fashionista says look very familiar. Kim and Khloe went down to Australia for the launch interviews (see below), where Khloe said “these are our designs, we design everything” while Kim insisted that “we're extremely involved in every last process." Hmm.

We perused the full line, and we think the Kardashians should give a little credit to Balenciaga, Hermes, Chanel, Alexander Wang, YSL, and many other designers. The sisters have admittedly knocked off logos, dresses, and now their entire line of handbags raises similar questions. True, the Kollection bags are a good deal cheaper than their lookalikes. From obvious similarities to very close shapes and colors, we’ve rounded up 11 Kardashian Kollection bags that look like knockoffs of other designs. Do you you see the resemblance?

Help me choose my new bag!

I've been wanting a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag for a while. I need to finally put my Longchamp purses aside and find something that is both sophisticated and simple. I want a bag that is timeless since I seriously only get a new purse every few years.

Which one do you like the best? Leave me a comment below!

Classic Q Lil Ukita Satchel: I think this is my top choice so far but I'm still on the fence.

Classic Q Natasha Crossbody

Classic Q Hillier Hobo
