My favorite and least favorite outfits from the Emmy Awards

The dresses at the 2011 Emmy Awards had a bunch of themes: reds, sequins, mermaid cuts, and one shoulder straps. Overall though, I was underwhelmed by the array of dresses on the red carpet. I thought some of the male actors looked much better than their female co-stars. Granted, men have less things they need to think about when dressing for an awards show.

Here are some of my favorite outfits from the night.

Sofia Vergara: She looks smoking!

Heather Morris: The best-dressed female Glee star.


Heidi Klum: This is so crazy and fun. I applaud her for going bold when others were keeping it simple.


And here are some of my least favorites.

Jayma Mays: What is going on here. This is horrendous. And she usually does the cutesy look well.


Juliana Margulies: What are those clear balls?


Gwyneth Paltrow: This is the stupidest outfit I've ever seen. Most people were so focused on the fact that she showed some skin and not on the fact that the dress is ugly.


Paz De la Huerta: All I can say is "EW"
