Pulp

On 1803 14th St NW between Columbia Heights and U street is a little store called Pulp that sells novelty gifts, stationary, and cards. I wanted to write this blog post so that more people would know about this store and check it out!

When you get to be in your mid-twenties, birthdays become less and less exciting. This store will help you celebrate birthdays with unique and hilarious cards and gifts. Even if you aren't shopping for a special occasion, there are plenty of things to browse such as holiday decorations and house decor. I've been looking for a steel water bottle to keep in my office and I found an awesome robot pirate bottle for 40% off.

Plus, the people who work there are so friendly and they have an awesome deal where after six purchases, they add together the total amount of your purchases and give you a gift card for 10% of the total. It's basically a win-win situation for frequent customers no matter how much or little you buy each time.

If you think that greeting cards are a huge waste of paper just know that Pulp's cards are made almost entirely of recycled materials. So long Hallmark!
