Last Saturday, I went to see "Shear Madness" at the Kennedy Center and it was a great time! If you're from Boston, then you've probably heard of the play before since it's the longest-running off Broadway play and it's currently at the Charles Playhouse. The production at the Kennedy Center has been going on for over 20 years and is currently the second longest-running off Broadway play.
The play is a comedy who-dun-it mystery at historic Georgetown's Shear Madness salon. You delve into the background of the case and watch as the various suspects are subsequently questioned. The detectives use the help of the audience to solve the murder which makes for a unique performance each night and hilarious improvisation.
Tickets are on sale for $45 for all shows. You can buy them here. Definitely worth it in my opinion. Bring a date or a group of friends for the show!
