Need help lifting boxes? Want someone to pick up and drop off an item from IKEA? Is your kitchen a mess and you want someone else to clean it? Task Rabbit is a way for people who need tasks done to find people willing to do them.

This website is not available for DC-area people but it is up and running in Boston, New York City, and a handful of other cities in the U.S. It's a great way to find help when you are in a bind. What makes this better than Craigslist is that people create user profiles where other users can rate them and leave feedback. You will feel more secure knowing that you have a dependable, trustworthy person helping you out.
