Restaurant Review: Cure

Cure is located in the Hyatt Hotel in Metro Center and even though I pass it almost everyday since it's next door to my office, Tuesday was my first time having lunch there. The restaurant is a tapas (small plate) place but it is not Spanish food like you traditionally see at tapas restaurants like La Tasca and Bodega.

Their lunch menu is extensive but reasonably prices and reasonably portioned. I ordered the daily grilled cheese special (cheddar cheese and broccoli), asparagus salad, and Maryland crab soup. Everything was delicious and fresh. What is great about the menu is that you can choose 3 items for $13, 4 items for $16, or 5 items for $19. You can mix and match however you want or you could order only 5 items for your entire table; it's not restricted by person like some other restaurants are. There are several different salads and sandwiches on the menu so most people would find something that they like. Also, their bubble tea is very delicious and a great way to complement you meal.

Definitely a recommended place for lunch with a group of friends or on a date. There is so much seating and it doesn't look like it gets too crowded during the daytime. I'm eager to try them out for dinner!

You can see the menu here.
