YES!! “Da Ali G Show” is back and we couldn’t be more excited! According to Flicksided.com,Sacha Baron Cohen “has signed a first-look deal with FX that would bring back his cult hit television show ‘Da Ali G Show’ to FX’s new sister comedy network, FXX.”FX’s sister network FXX is the “comedy hub of the FOX networks.” The traffic this network will gain by adding “Da Ali G Show” can only be expected to rapidly increase.
Flick Sided further stated, “The deal with FX is for both new and old episodes of Da Ali G Show as FX would have the rights to air previously unaired episodes of the show as well as get first-look at new episodes that Cohen pens for a revived version of the show that will be called Ali G: Rezurection.”
This is a f*cking incredible announcement and one that seems to come out of the blue. Fans all over the world are celebrating, as their favorite funny man is coming back to the small screen.
I can’t wait to re-watch “Ali G Indahouse” after work to prepare myself accordingly. Throwback to 2002, but hey, it’s still hilarious.
