Chipotle's new menu option

Great news, tofu-lovers of the Northeast. Chipotle is expanding its braised tofu Sofritas to New York and New England, the company announced in a tweet Thursday:

The vegan option is coming March 3, the company told The Huffington Post in an email. Here's what else we know about the Sofritas burrito:

1. It looks like this:



2. It's already available in over a dozen states.

3. About 40 percent of Chipotle restaurants already have the Sofritas burrito.

4. The burrito chain plans to roll out Sofritas nationwide, but it's unclear when that will happen.

5. And it apparently tastes a lot like scrambled eggs.
